This is why I spent most of my puberty years tying it up. At the age of 18, I was ready to stop worrying about my hair and learn some tips. Now I know how to care for my hair. I know which products to use and how to style my hair. I also know how to sleep with it (I could probably write a whole book about sleeping with curly locks). And how to keep it healthy. The result? My hair is full of healthy, long curls. Only one thing about my hair I would not be able to live without is the long drying process. This is where the Dyson hair dryer steps in.
Your hand won't get too hot when holding the tool.
My hair is usually washed twice a week. I sometimes let my hair air dry but I prefer to blow it out. My hair is thick, long and curly so I can dry it straight. Or I can diffuse it to create a fun wave.
First, I was impressed by the Dyson's inclusion of everything. My previous hair dryer only came with the dryer. I had to order accessories (diffusers, concentrators, brushes, etc.) separately. These accessories were not included in the original hair dryer, so I had to order them separately.
My hair is curly. It's a mixture 3b/3c curls. I spent most years of puberty straightening it. At age 18, I decided enough was enough. I set out to learn more about curl care. Now, my hair care routine is a science. I know the best products, how and when to style it, how you should sleep with it (I could even write a book on sleeping with curly hair), how to keep your hair healthy. The result? I have healthy, thick curls that last a long time. The insanely slow drying process is the one aspect of my hair I cannot live without. The Dyson hair dryer helps with this problem.

Although other hair dryers are capable of drying my hair fast, the Dyson is a class apart. My first time using it, I measured my drying time with my phone. The result? 1:40:11. My whole head was dried in less than 2 minutes. Although my hair is very fine, it takes me longer to make a cup if instant coffee. The Dyson made it worth the money. I'm often late but don't mind if I have enough to wash my hair right now. I always have at least two minutes.
Dyson isn’t lying about Supersonic’s ability to make hair feel healthier. Dyson claims that Supersonic will reduce hair damage by upto 80%. However, I am not a hairstylist and cannot verify these claims. I do know the feeling of my hair after using a Dyson hair dryer (not deep fried) and when it feels straightened (fried).
I was addicted to Dyson products. Dyson's hair dryers dry my hair faster than any other.
Magnetic attachments
The volume it gave my hair was what made it worth the price. As I mentioned, my hair is straight and thin. So why do I need a hair dryer that costs so much? The Dyson Supersonic works wonders for my hair type. It creates big volume, and I mean BIG! The round brush included with the dryer is great for creating curtain bangs. I also use one of the concentratornozzles to style my bangs. My hair looks great when I don't use any attachments.

I was absolutely blown away by the Dyson when I finally bought it. It is sleek and lightweight, which is a big difference from the heavy-duty hair dryers I used before, and very easy to use. The Dyson is the best hair dryer I've ever used. The Dyson has the most precise heat controls I've ever seen. It also uses technology to ensure that I don't damage my hair, even at a higher heat setting. This is one part of my routine I actually enjoy with the Dyson.
Different hair types may be made
You can reposition your hair, grab a section of hair, or just because your arms are tired. When you turn it off, the Dyson Supersonic turns back to the previous setting. It's an easy-to-use feature that simplifies styling your hair.
In my opinion, the Dyson Supersonic dryer is the best for gray hair. Dyson Airwrap is the closest thing to it and something I want to get.
The hair dryer can cause hair to get dry and rough, which can result in hair losing its color (1). The heat can make gray hair brassy or yellowish (2). Maybe it's because my hair dryers kept putting out crap.

Two independent editors tested the Dyson Supersonic Dryer with hair of very different lengths, textures and types.
I was instantly blown away when the Dyson arrived in my home. It's lightweight and slimmer than the big hair dryers that I used. And it's so easy to navigate. I can't compare the Dyson to any other hair dryers. The heat controls are very precise. And the technology makes sure that I don’t do any damage to my hair, even when the heat is high. I find that this part of my daily routine is more enjoyable with the Dyson than something I dread or avoid altogether.
Dyson Supersonic is said to be a miracle hair dryer, with more promises than any other. Dyson advertises the Supersonic as being "engineered protect hair from extreme heat, with fast drying, controlled styling to help increase silkiness by 75%, shine by upto 132%, and decrease frizz by up to 61%. *"
Dyson says that the Dyson Supersonic is engineered for hair protection from extreme heat damage. With fast drying and controlled styling, Dyson claims that it can increase smoothness up to 75%, shine up to 132%, and reduce flyaways and frizz up to 61%. All of this is why I am here.
My Dyson Supersonic was purchased back in 2018 with three attachments. Now, it comes with these five:

The Dyson Supersonic cable is 9 feet long, while professional hair dryers have a 11 foot cord. The professional hair dryer has a stronger filter and is about $50 more.

Three attachments came with my Dyson Supersonic when it was first purchased in 2018. You now get these five attachments with your Dyson Supersonic.

I use the Styling Contolator nine times out ten. But, my hair is naturally wavy so the diffuser helps to define my curls and prevent them from getting frizzy.

Fast is what I mean when I say it. My hair is thick and curly, measuring 28 inches in length. It's quite a lot of hair. Diffusing my hair took me five minutes. This is a great trick for when it's colder outside and my hair doesn't need to air dry for more than half of the day. It took me 20 minutes to do a blowout. I'm not an expert. If I was a better blowout artist, it would have been much faster.
I was able, in 5 minutes, to dry my curly, 28-inch-long hair without having to completely fry it
A great hair dryer is something that has become a requirement in recent years. It may be because hair dryers can make hair dry and rough. You might be experiencing brassy hair (or yellowish) due to heat exposure (2). Maybe it's my disgust at all the hair dryers that ruined my hair.
You might be aware that blow drying your hair requires you to turn it on and off several times.
To dry your hair, you should use the diffuser to gather your hair and then press it to your scalp. Dyson has made a series videos that will help you use your hair dryer if you are unsure (as I was).
