Although other hair dryers are capable of drying my hair fast, the Dyson is a class apart. My first time using it, I measured my drying time with my phone. The result? 1:40:11. My whole head was dried in less than 2 minutes. Although my hair is very fine, it takes me longer to make a cup if instant coffee. The Dyson made it worth the money. I'm often late but don't mind if I have enough to wash my hair right now. I always have at least two minutes.
The Dyson hair dryer has four temperature settings. The Dyson hair dryer can be set to the hottest temperature of 212°F, while the coolest setting is 82°F.
Whatever the reason may be, I knew I was going to put Dyson's Supersonic Hair Dryer to the test.

This is the future hair dryer. Dyson Supersonic promises a smoother and more shiny hair. They also claim to reduce frizz and cut down on drying time. Dyson V9 uses their Air Multiplier tech, which creates lots of air at controlled rates to dry your hair quicker. The Dyson dryer monitors the heat coming off the dryer 40 times per minute to control the heat and avoid any damage. Your hair will be shinier and smoother with less damage--both when you use the tool and over the years. If you are worried about frizz, the dryer uses negative ions to reduce static. This will keep your hair smooth and shiny all day.
Those are many numbers that seem largely fabricated. Dyson vacuums have been worth the cost so why not apply the same to their hair tools? Because it seems subjective to be able to quantify, I was skeptical about the claim that the Supersonic increases shine 132%. I was intrigued to see if the claims regarding decreasing frizz or protecting from heat damage were correct.

Although I haven’t seen a knockoff, you can let your hair air dry most of it and then blow dry with a hair dryer for the last few seconds. This will give you a smooth and shiny finish without having to heat it.

When I use the term fast, it means fast. My 28-inch-long curly hair is thick and thick. This is a lot hair. Diffusing my hair took me five minutes. It's a lifesaver when the weather is colder, and I don't have the time to let my hair dry naturally for half of the day. The entire process took me around 20 minutes, and I am no expert. The Dyson Supersonic's cable length is 9 feet. While the professional hair dryer's cord length is 11 feet, it has a length of 9 feet.
Since 2018, I've owned the Dyson Supersonic dryer. Although I love it and recommend it to others, it doesn't suit everyone. It protects from heat damage, but it is not cheap and therefore not the best option.
