2 Yard Skip
These skips can be used to do a variety of jobs be it commercial or domestic. Mostly, they are used domestically who just
need small waste removal. They can be used to clean up gardens, the kitchen or bathroom waste. This is because these areas
create only a small amount of waste. The mini skips can be filled with leaves, branches, dirt and any other waste so long as it fits into it.
You'll have to consider the amount of time you want to hire the skip bin for. This may or may not impact on you depending on the skip company policy.

6 Yard Skip
Builders are the ones who mostly prefer the 6-yard skips. The skips are for the waste materials from the building and construction job.
Hiring also takes place when there is a driveway installation, garden clearances, and end of tenancy cleaning. In case of large home improvement, the skips are also a good size for the many multiple jobs’ waste that takes place either in the kitchen or the bathroom simultaneously.
A majority of waste products can be put into the skip. Thus making them very popular. What should be known before hiring the skip is only a few restrictions that prohibit the disposal of hazardous waste material, gas cylinders, tyres, asbestos, paint, chemicals and electricals.

There are usually two general options for larger sizes: 6 yard skip or 8 yard skip. In most cases, removing things from your home will not require a bigger skip but if you're taking on an ambitious project or work on a site then you may need the larger option.
If required, you can opt for smaller skip bins which will undoubtedly cost less. These include the 2, 3, 4 and 5 skip bin. If you require anything bigger than the 8 yard, there are options from 10 yard all the way through to 18.
Logic dictates that the bigger size you require, the more you'll have to pay. Depending where in the UK you hire the skip bin from will alter the price.
