CLIQ GO APP PRIVACY STATEMENT

This Privacy Statement explains how and why ASSA ABLOY will process personal data when you use the CLIQ Go app.

Although ASSA ABLOY provides the CLIQ Go app, we do so on behalf of other companies which install or maintain CLIQ systems. These companies are the ‘data controller’ of the personal data you provide in order to use the CLIQ Go app, and they are responsible for making sure your personal data is used in accordance with relevant data protection laws.

As ASSA ABLOY acts on behalf of these companies, we are a ‘data processor’, and only process your personal data under the instruction of the data controller.

You should direct any privacy inquiries, including any requests to exercise your data protection rights, to the data controller. ASSA ABLOY is not responsible for the privacy practices of our customers, which may differ from those set forth in this Privacy Statement.

We respect your right to privacy and are committed to following applicable data protection rules to safeguard your rights. We want to make sure that you understand the type of information collected about you on behalf of the data controller, how it is used and how we protect it.

The following information may be collected when activating a CLIQ system in the app:

Your name, email and/or telephone number which you submit in order to obtain a license from us.
Audit trails and log files of usage of the CLIQ Go app.
Information such as technical data and related information about the device being used for the services, including unique push ID, operating system and application software, related to usage and performance of the CLIQ Go app as accessed and used via the CLIQ Go app.

Information is collected when you obtain a license from us for your CLIQ product.

ASSA ABLOY, on behalf of the data controller, will process personal data for the following purposes:

For security purposes to protect the integrity of the CLIQ Go App and any data stored by ASSA ABLOY on behalf of the data controller.
To set up and manage your system, for example by sending you log in details or new security certificates.
To provide software updates
For security purposes to protect the integrity of the CLIQ Go App and any data stored by ASSA ABLOY on behalf of the data controller.

The data controller
Third parties on the instruction of your data controller
To other organisations of the ASSA ABLOY Group to the extent necessary to support the operation of the CLIQ Go App
To third parties which provide support services connected to CLIQ products and services, but only to the extent necessary to provide these services, for example, to cloud hosting providers who may store personal data on our behalf
When required by law or as lawfully ordered by a court or authority of competent jurisdiction, and/or;
To a buyer or a potential future buyer of our business.

We retain information on instructions of the data controller until the relationship with the data controller is terminated or if the data controller instructs us to delete the information. If instructed by the data controller, we will delete the information without undue delay.

You should refer to the data controller’s privacy notice to find out what your rights are.

If you want to make a request in relation to the processing of your personal data, you should make the request of your data controller.

If you have any complaints about the way in which the personal data is being processed you should contact the data controller, but you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority of your country:
